Collective exhibition “Alliages”, IMC Mines Alès, France
As a result of a collaboration with the geology school of Alès (IMT Mines Alès) in France, I created this sculpture inspired by psilomelane, a black and granular mineral. Subsequently, I developed a fictional narrative around it where humanity is ravaged by a mutant virus that affects all living beings, transforming them into a black, viscous mass. To bring my characters to life, I currently use simple and economical materials such as toilet paper, adhesive tape, various types of acrylics, and makeup. Working with these materials has been both a challenge and a great method for developing ingenuity and spatial awareness.
